In Northern Spain Gastronomy we are looking for freelancers, part-time employees and full-time employees to join our family in Bilbao. You would be in charge of delivering tours from 2-8 hours mainly focused in food tours, cooking experiences and wine tastings in Basque Country and La Rioja.

What are our requirements to join us?

• You must love the gastronomy of Northern Spain: its food, wines and traditions

• You need to be fluent in English and Spanish

• You need to be flexible to work Monday to Sunday and be connected to your email/phone number at least once a day

• You are a storyteller, you enjoy spending time with people and most importantly you can make them laugh

• You need to have lived in the region for at least one year, know its main bars and points of interest

• You need to be full of energy and motivation

• Perfect fit for graduate students from the Basque Culinary Center, with studies in Food Tourism or wine studies with the WSET

What do we offer?

• You will earn between €8-€30 per hour depending on the amount of people in the tour, your commitment, availability and the type of tour you can offer

• You will be the one receiving and keeping the tips from our generous clients (a big part of our customers are American)

• You will be provided with monthly training sessions so you feel comfortable in all type of tour situations and you keep learning along the way

• We will provide you with all the marketing materials you might need to provide the customers before/after the tours

• We like to run fun team meetings every month/quarter in our villa so all the team keeps motivated, employees can share their view in tour improvements, you can taste all the new wines offered in the tours and you can get to know every member of the NSG family
